2 charged with child pornography in Ina

INA, Ill. (KBSI) – Two people from Ina face a child pornography charge.

Tyler J. Stover, 28, and Julie R. Bulthuis, 25, each face a charge of child pornography.

The afternoon of Thursday, August 8 detectives and deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office arrested Stover and Bluthuis at 511 S. Cross Street in Ina.

The were arrested for Jefferson County warrants each with the criminal charge of child pornography.

The investigation was initiated after a complaint was made to the Mt. Vernon Police Department on July 1.

Investigators determined the allegations originated in Ina. The sheriff’s office was contacted to assist and detectives took over the investigation.

Search warrants were obtained and executed at the same Ina home on July 2 where evidence was obtained and submitted for forensic analysis.

Investigators say the investigation revealed evidence of criminal activity which also involved a victim who was a juvenile family member.

The investigation findings were forwarded to the States Attorney’s Office for formal charges and arrest warrants were issued.

Stover and Bulthuis were taken to the Jefferson County Jail.
