2 dead after motorcycle crash in Kentucky

CALVERT CITY Ky. (KBSI) – Paducah police are investigating after one crash took the life of two individuals.

Brian A Bledsoe age 40 of Benton Kentucky was driving a motorcycle with passenger Amanda R Stokes, age 40 of Calvert City, Kentucky.

According to the Paducah Police Department, Saturday afternoon officers with the Paducah Police Department responded to a vehicle crash in the east bound lane of I-24 of mile marker 6.4.

Witnesses told officers a motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it left the roadway and hit the median cable barrier.

Witnesses also said there were no vehicles involved. Both Bledsoe and Stokes died at the scene.

The department’s Collision Reconstruction Team and detectives responded to the scene and are continuing the investigation.
