2 face burglary, drug charges after service animal, other items stolen from home
CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – Two people face charges after a report of an overnight burglary in Calloway County on Monday.
Calloway County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a home on Navigator Drive around 4 a.m. Monday, September 13.
Numerous items, including a service animal were taken from the home. Shortly after deputies were led to an investigation of a Wingo home in Graves County.
Deputies from the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office and Graves County Sheriff’s Office found two people at a home in Wingo in possession of the stolen property who are believe to be involved in the burglary. Deputies also found suspected methamphetamine, according to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office.
Whitney L Reeves, 29, and Dustin S. Boles, 34, both of Wingo, Ky. were arrested and charged with 2nd degree burglary in Calloway County. Both were also charged with 1st degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) in Graves County.
Reeves and Boles were taken to the Calloway County Jail.
The stolen property was returned to the victim.
