2 face drug charges after found passed out in car in courthouse parking lot

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – Two people face drug charges after deputies conducted a welfare check in the parking lot of the McCracken County Courthouse.
Jennifer Henderson of Benton, Ky. faces charges of public intoxication, possession of controlled substance 1st degree (meth) 2nd offense and drug paraphernalia.
Michael Dickerson of Ledbetter, Ky. faces charges of public intoxication, possession of controlled substance 1st degree (meth) 3rd offense and drug paraphernalia.
Deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office were notified of a welfare check on the parking lot of the McCracken County Court House on Friday, April 19 at 4 p.m.
Two people were asleep in a parked vehicle. Passersby were concerned for their safety.
Deputies made contact with Henderson and Dickerson.
Deputies say both appeared to be manifestly under the influence of an unknown substance.
They were found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, according to deputies.
Henderson and Dickerson were arrested and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
