2 face drug charges after sheriff’s deputies try to find person with warrants

DEXTER, Ky. (KBSI) – Two people face drug charges after sheriff’s deputies went to a Dexter, Ky. home trying to find someone with warrants.

Michael D. Peake, 52, of Dexter, Ky. faces charges of possession of controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia and bench warrants for failure to appear (two counts).

Zachary R. Booker, 29, of Hardin faces charges of possesion of controlled substance 1st deg 1st offense (hydrocodone) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Calloway County Sheriff’s deputies went to a home in Dexter on November 3 around 10:30 p.m. and found two people in possession of illicit drugs, which are Class D felonies, according to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office.

A rolled up dollar bill along with a crushed white substance that was believed to be hydrocodone was found.

Peake and Booker were arrested and taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
