2 face drug charges after traffic stop in Calloway County

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – Two people face drug charges after a traffic stop in Calloway County late Tuesday night.
Calloway County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on KY 94W around 11:30 p.m. on June 6.
The driver and passenger were found to be in possession of methamphetamine, according to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office.
Sirena Beach, 28, of Murray faces charges of careless driving, no registration plate, failure for owner to maintain required insurance-1st offense and possesion of a controlled substance – 1st offense (methamphetamine).
Casey Martin, 26 faces a charge of possession of a controlled substance-1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine).
They were taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
