2 face drug charges after traffic stop in Murray

MURRAY, Ky. (KBSI) – Two people from Murray face drug charges after a traffic stop on Tuesday.

Jose Felix, 35, of Murray faces charges of no registration receipt, failure to produce insurance card, possession of marijuana, possession controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense-methamphetamine (Class D felony) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Whitney Felix, 35, of Murray faces charges of possession of controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense-methamphetamine (Class D felony) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Calloway County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on N 16th Street in Murray around 4 p.m. on January 23.

The driver and the passenger were found to be in possession of illicit drugs, according to a post on the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.

They taken to the Calloway County Correction Facility.
