2 face drug charges in Calloway County after lengthy investigation

PANORAMA SHORES, Ky. (KBSI) – Two people face drug charges after a lengthy investigation into drug trafficking in Calloway County.
Robert K. Lima, 33, of Murray faces charges of trafficking in marijuana over 5 pounds (Class C felony), possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (LSD) (Class D felony), possesion of controlled substance 3rd degree (drug unspecified) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Cieara N. Burton, 32, of Murray faces charges of trafficking in marijuana (over 5 pounds) (Class C felony), possession of controlled substance 1st deg, 1st offense (LSD) (Class D felony), possession of controlled substance 3rd deg (drug unspecified) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Deputies from the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office and Marshall County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in Calloway County on a home near Panorama Shores on September 15.
The search warrant came after a lengthy investigation into marijuana trafficking across both counties.
Detectives and deputies found more than 33 pounds of marijuana, THC vapes, THC wax, LSD and other illicit pills during the search of the home, according to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office.
Calloway County Sheriff Knight reminds the citizens of Calloway County that marijuana is still an illegal substance in the state of Kentucky and when reports or information of its whereabouts in the county are brought forward, the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office will investigate it in due regard much like any other illegal drug.
Lima and Burton were arrested on scene and taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
