2 face drug charges in Calloway County after traffic stop
CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – Two people face drug charges after a traffic stop in Calloway County.
Lenora Robertson, 55, of Murray faces charges of no registration plate, possession of controlled substance 1st deg 3rd or greater offense-drug unspecified (Class D felony), possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with physical evidence.
Bernardo Garcia, 50, of Paducah faces charges of possession of marijuana, possesion of controlled substance 1st degree 3rd or greater offense – drug unspecified (Class D felony), possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with physical evidence.
Calloway County sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on Saturday, December 26 at 6 p.m. and found the driver and passenger to be in possession of illicit drugs, according to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office.
At one point, deputies say both people tried to conceal what was believed to be meth pipes.
They were both taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
