2 face meth, marijuana charges in Farley
FARLEY, Ky. (KBSI) – Two McCracken County men face drug charges after there were arrested Friday afternoon.
Calvin D. Thompson, 58, faces charges of trafficking in methamphetamine 2nd or subsequent offense, trafficking in marijuana less than 8oz 2nd or subsequent offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Angel A. Medina, 38, faces charges of trafficking in methamphetamine 2nd or subsequent offense, trafficking in marijuana less than 8oz 2nd or subsequent offense, possession of drug paraphernalia and wanton endangerment 2nd offense.
McCracken County Sheriff’s deputies arrested the two men during a drug investigation in the Farley area of McCracken County on Friday, May 31.
Detectives seized approximately 157 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana and assorted drug paraphernalia.
Deputies and detectives conducted a drug investigation on May 31 at a home at 1436 Yarbro Lane in McCracken County.
Deputies searched the home and say they found approximately 17 grams of crystal methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Thompson was arrested in connection with the drugs found inside the home.
While the investigation was ongoing at the home, Medina arrived at the home with his juvenile child in the vehicle.
During a probable cause search of Medina’s vehicle, detectives say they found approximately 140 grams of crystal methamphetamine. They say the methamphetamine was concealed in a door panel of the vehicle.
Medina was arrested.
Both Thompson and Medina were on felony parole at the time of their arrests for unrelated felony convictions.
They were taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
