2 facing drug, other charges after meth, marijuana, more found in McCracken County

REIDLAND, Ky. (KBSI) – Two people face several drug and other charges after a drug investigation in McCracken County.

Anthony B. Farmer, 25, of Benton Road in McCracken County faces charges of failure to signal, reckless driving, fleeing or evading police-motor vehicle-1st degree, wanton endangerment-1st degree, fleeing or evading police on foot-1st degree, tampering with physical evidence, trafficking in methamphetamine 2nd or subsequent offense, criminal mischief (damage to a fence) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Tori L. Bowen, 33, of Benton Road in McCracken County faces charges of tampering with physical evidence, trafficking in methamphetamine 2nd or subsequent offense, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office arrested a McCracken County Couple on Thursday afternoon on numerous offenses following a drug investigation.
On 08/10/23 detectives were investigating alleged Methamphetamine trafficking taking place at an apartment in the Reidland area of McCracken County.

Detectives saw a vehicle alleged to be involved with drug trafficking leave an apartment in the Reidland area.

Patrol Deputy Jason Armstrong tried to stop the vehicle near the intersection of Irvin Cobb and Broad Streets in Paducah. When Deputy Armstrong got out of his vehicle, the driver drove away, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputy Armstrong chased the vehicle. It ran into a fence near the intersection of 4th and Husband’s Street in Paducah, according to the sheriff’s office.

The driver, Anthony Farmer, then ran away on foot, but was quickly caught by Deputy Armstrong.

Deputies found the passenger, Tori Bowen, inside the vehicle.

Detectives found a bag that had been thrown from the vehicle that contained 185 grams of crystal methamphetamine and a digital scale.

During a search of the vehicle detectives found seized other drugs and paraphernalia.

Detectives obtained and executed a search warrant for the couple’s apartment at 6600 Old Benton Road in McCracken County.

During a search of the apartment detectives located and seized additional methamphetamine, marijuana, assorted drug paraphernalia, and money believed to be proceeds of illegal sales.

In total detectives seized 320 grams of crystal methamphetamine and more than $3,000 in suspected drug monies.

Farmer and Bowen were arrested and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.

Deputy jailers searched Bowen and found additional methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia concealed in an undergarment, according to the sheriff’s office.

Farmer was on felony parole at the time of his arrest for a previous drug trafficking methamphetamine conviction.

Bowen was on felony diversion at the time of her arrest from a past charge of complicity to traffic in methamphetamine.
