2 from Paducah face meth trafficking charges

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) – A Paducah couple faces drug charges after detectives say they found methamphetamine and drug trafficking items.

Thursday, Oct. 20 detectives executed a search warrant as part of a drug investigation at 824 Koerner Street in Paducah.

Detectives found and seized methamphetamine as well as other items indicative of illegal drug trafficking, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.

Detectives also seized suspected Fentanyl that was in powder form from the home.

Christopher Golightly, 46, faces charges of trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense (>or=2GMS Methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense (drug unspecified), possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance 2nd degree (drug unspecified), and drug paraphernalia (buy or possess).

Jonna Wheeler, 48, faces  charges of trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense (>or=2GMS Methamphetamine) (enhanced), possession of a controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense (drug unspecified), possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance 2nd degree (drug unspecified), drug paraphernalia (buy or possess).

Golightly and Wheeler were taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
