2 Injured in Sikeston shooting; Investigation underway

SIKESTON, Mo., (KBSI) — Authorities are investigating a shooting that injured two people early Thursday morning.

The Scott County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call at 1:32 a.m. at 202 Blake Road, where two individuals were found shot.

The sheriff’s office is working with the Sikeston Department of Public Safety and Missouri State Highway Patrol to investigate the incident. No further details have been released.

The sheriff’s office urges anyone with information to come forward and encourages area residents to review surveillance footage for suspicious activity.
