2 juveniles face charges after several Reidland business vandalized

REIDLAND, Ky. (KBSI) – Two juveniles face charges after several businesses in Reidland were vandalized.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office responded to several business in the Reidland area due to vandalism over the past several days. The businesses include a flower shop, play care center, and Reidland United Methodist Church. All three buildings had vulgar images and words spray painted on the exterior of the building as well as several windows being broken out with rocks, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.

Detectives identified two juveniles as possible suspects. Both juveniles admitted to their involvement in the events, according to the sheriff’s office.

The cost of the damages sustained by the victims is estimated at more than $1,000.

Both juveniles face criminal mischief 1st degree charges.
