2 men face drug charges after sheriff’s deputies bust ‘drug house’
JOHNSTON CITY, Ill. (KBSI) – Two men face several drug charges after sheriff’s deputies say they busted a drug house in Johnston City.
David M. Lehman Jr. faces charges of armed habitual criminal (Class X felony), methamphetamine possession (Class 3 felony), methamphetamine delivery (Class 2 felony), possession of weapon by felon (Class 3 felony) and possession of drug paraphernalia (Class A misdemeanor).
Timothy L. Hastings faces charges of methamphetamine delivery (Class 1 felony), methamphetamine delivery (Class 1 felony), methamphetamine possession (Class 3 felony) and possession of drug paraphernalia (Class A misdemeanor).
Williamson County Sheriff’s deputies executed a search warrant at 608 E Broadway in Johnston City at 12:55 p.m. on Wednesday, August 14.
Deputies say the home has been the subject of extensive narcotics activity which was occurring at all hours.
They say they found contraband in the home including a firearm in the possession of a felon.
“If you are operating a drug house in Williamson County, it’s only a matter of time before our Deputies stop by for a visit,” said Williamson County Sheriff Jeff Diederich.
Lehman and Hastings were taken to the Williamson County Jail.
Williamson County State’s Attorney Ted Hampson and the Johnston City Police Department assisted the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office.
