In June of 2023 the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office initiated a drug investigation that led to a search warrant being executed at Josh Hill’s home in Graves County.

During the investigation detectives seized more than one pound of crystal methamphetamine, marijuana and money believed to be proceeds of illegal drug sales from Hill’s home.

All three agencies worked together collaboratively Monday, December 18 to find and arrest both men.

They were found on the parking lot of Paducah hotel just before 11 p.m. in a rental car. When detectives moved in to arrest them, Hill tried to run away on foot. He was caught after a short foot chase and arrested.

Detectives say they found approximately 200 grams of crystal methamphetamine inside Hill’s coat.
