2 roads closed in western KY due to water over them

(KBSI) – Two roads in western Kentucky are closed because of water over them. Several have reopened. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet reports the following update at of 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 17.

Carlisle County

  • KY 1820 is open at the 2 to 3mm
  • KY 1628 is open at the 3 to 4mm

Fulton County

  • KY 1907/Swamp Root Road is open between KY 781 and KY 94
  • KY 1718/Fairview Street is closed at the 0.1 mile marker in Fulton for ongoing water main repairs at the Fairview St and South 7th St intersection.

Hickman County

  • KY 123 is closed at the 14 to 16mm at Obion Creek in the Hailwell Corner area
