2 teens face charges after several vehicles ransacked near Fancy Farm

FANCY FARM, Ky. (KBSI) – Two teens face charges after several vehicles were ransacked in the Fancy Farm area.

Ashton S. Sneathen, 18, faces charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, theft of a controlled substance and theft for items taken from vehicles. Additional charges are possible later as the investigation continues.

Late Sunday, November 12 around 11 p.m., suspects ransacked several vehicles in the Fancy Farm area, including cars parked at homes on Jerome, Monroe and Hayden streets, according to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office.

One vehicle was taken by the suspects for apparent joy riding before it was brought back, according to the sheriff’s office.

Items later were reported taken from some of the vehicles including prescription medication that were classified as controlled substances.

Graves County sheriff’s deputies identified two suspects on Tuesday afternoon.

Deputies found Ashton S. Sneathen, 18, at his home on Rocky Road near the Dublin area of Graves County around 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 14.

The second suspect, 16 years old, was found at a home on Hwy. 1710 near the Golo area at 4:45 p.m. where sheriff’s deputies arrested him.

Both Sneathen and the 16-year-old juvenile face charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, theft of a controlled substance and theft for items taken from vehicles. Additional charges are possible later as the investigation continues.
