2-vehicle collision on US-60 East in Livingston County

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) – Livingston County first responders were dispatched to a two-vehicle collision Tuesday on US-60 East in the Burna Community.
The incident occurred around 3 p.m. in the 1700 block of US-60 East. An investigation found that James Kitchens, 42, of Salem, Ky., was driving a 2019 Ram truck eastbound when David Harris, 38, of Smithland, Ky., attempted to turn left into a residential driveway in a 2013 Buick Regal.
Harris pulled into Kitchens’ path, causing the collision. All parties sustained non-incapacitating injuries but declined medical treatment.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Burna Fire Department, Salem Fire Department, Livingston County EMS and Hunter’s Wrecker Service.
