SIKESTON, Mo., (KBSI) — The Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo announced Wednesday that its 2026 Saturday night entertainment will feature a double-header performance by country artist Braxton Keith and hip-hop performer That Mexican OT.
Rodeo officials said the two artists will headline Saturday night, offering fans a mix of country and hip-hop music during the 2026 event.
Keith, a singer-songwriter from Midland, Texas, is signed to Warner Music Nashville and is known for his modern honky-tonk sound rooted in traditional Texas country music. His major-label debut single, “Fall This Way,” preceded the release of his EP Blue, helping expand his audience beyond Texas.
That Mexican OT, whose real name is Virgil Rene Gazca, is a rapper from Bay City, Texas. He gained national attention with his 2023 breakout hit “Johnny Dang,” featuring Paul Wall and DRODi, which appeared on the Billboard Hot 100. His debut album, Lonestar Luchador, blends Southern hip-hop with Tejano influences.
“We’re incredibly excited to bring another double-feature Saturday night to the rodeo,” said Issac Quick, 2026 general chairman of the Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo. “This lineup offers something for everyone.”
The rodeo’s full 2026 entertainment schedule includes Tucker Wetmore on Wednesday, Blake Whiten on Thursday, Hudson Westbrook on Friday, and Keith and That Mexican OT on Saturday.
