3 arrested for drugs in Paducah
PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) – Three people face drug charges after they were arrested Thursday, September 28 in Paducah.
Emma Wadley, 31, of Kuttawa faces a charge of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine/more than two grams).
Dustin B. Edging, 30, of Kuttawa faces a charge of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine/less than two grams).
Kelsi Rae Mann, 33, of Ashbrook Avenue in Paducah faces a charge of first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A drug investigation by Paducah police Drug Unit detectives netted three
arrests Thursday afternoon.
The three were arrested Thursday, September 28.
Detectives had been investigating alleged illegal drug activity by Dustin Edging of Kuttawa and Kelsi Mann of Paducah. They obtained information that Edging was coming to Paducah to sell drugs Thursday afternoon.
Edging was on probation and has an ankle monitor. Local Probation and Parole officers provided detectives with updated information regarding Edging’s whereabouts.
Detectives saw Edging meet with Emma Wadley, the mother of his child, in the parking lot of a truck stop at Exit 16 and saw what they deemed suspicious activity between the two, according to the Paducah Police Department.
Wadley’s vehicle was stopped as she left the truck stop.
Officer Ben Anthony and his K9 partner, Bary, were called to the scene. Bary indicated the presence of drugs in Wadley’s vehicle. Police say a search found 2.6 pounds of methamphetamine in the trunk.
Edging was arrested before he left the parking lot.
He told officers he had come to Paducah to sell the drugs found in Wadley’s vehicle, according to police.
Wadley and Edging were arrested. The two children in Wadley’s vehicle were released to a grandparent.
A short time later, officers stopped Kelsi Mann as she left her home on Ashbrook Avenue. A search warrant was served on Mann’s vehicle. Officers found 1.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine and paraphernalia, according to police.

Mann, Wadley and Edging were booked into McCracken County Regional Jail.
