3 face drug charges after sheriff’s deputies receive numerous complaints
CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – Three people face drug charges after sheriff’s deputies receive numerous complaints of drug trafficking.
Cammie J. Arnett, 20, of Murray faces charges of trafficking in controlled substance 1st degree – cocaine (Class D felony), trafficking in controlled substance 2nd degree-hallucinogen (Class D felony), trafficking marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with physical evidence.
Logan T. Kondratko, 21, of Murray faces charges of possession of cocaine (Class D felony) and possession of marijuana.
Darrean M. Smiley, 27, of Murray faces possession of cocaine (Class D felony), possession of drug paraphernalia and several traffic violations.
Calloway County sheriff’s deputies arrested three people at a home on Princeton Drive Friday, April 12.
Drug detectives and deputies conducted an investigation that involved making cocaine purchases from Cammie J. Arnett, according deputies.
During this investigation, they stopped a vehicle on KY Hwy. 94 West near Cross Field Drive.
The driver of the vehicle, Darrean M. Smiley, was found to be in possession of cocaine.
They executed a search warrant on Princeton Drive where Cammie J. Arnett and Logan T. Kondratko were found.
Cocaine, marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms were all found packaged and ready for sale.
Investigators also seized were items indicative of drug trafficking including sandwich bags, digital weight scales, approximately $700 in cash and drug paraphernalia.
Deputies say they saw Arnett trying to hide a bag that contained cocaine.
All three people were arrested and taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
The Calloway County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.
