3 face drug charges in Mayfield

MAYFIELD, Ky. (KBSI) – Three people face drug charges after the Graves County Sheriff’s Office received information of illegal drug activity at a home in Mayfield.

After conducting an investigation,, Graves County Sheriff’s deputies obtained a search warrant for a home on 9th Street in Mayfield. Deputies went to the home about 4 p.m. on Oct. 26.

Deputies seized approximately 33 grams of crystal methamphetamine, marijuana, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia. They also found an additional amount of methamphetamine and a firearm in a tent located in the back yard that was found to be occupied by a couple also living on the property, according to the sheriff’s Office.

Jay Ivy, 49, faces charges of trafficking in controlled substance over 2 grams 1st offense methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Alexzander D. Reynolds, 23, faces charges of possession of a controlled substance 1st offense methamphetamine (firearm enhanced) and drug paraphernalia.

Kandace M. Reynolds, 23, faces charges of possession of a controlled substance 1st offense methamphetamine (firearm enhanced) and drug paraphernalia.

All three suspect were arrested on drug related charges and taken to an out of county jail.

The Mayfield City Police Department and the Kentucky State Police assisted the Graves County Sheriff’s Office in the investigation.
