3 injured in shooting in Mayfield

MAYFIELD, Ky. (KBSI) – Three people are injured in a shooting in Mayfield Thursday morning.

Officers with the Mayfield Police Department and Graves County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Plaza Apartments for a shooting that happened around 4:45 a.m.

Three gunshot victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment of serious injuries.

Police have developed a person of interest.

This is an active investigation.

Mayfield police say there is no active threat to the public.
