3 West Frankfort residents arrested after sheriff’s deputies find drugs in home

WEST FRANKFORT, Ill. (KBSI) – Three West Frankfort residents face charges after sheriff’s deputies responded to a noise complaint in rural West Frankfort.
Around 12:05 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3 Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a report of a noise complaint from a home in rural West Frankfort.
Deputies made contact and spoke with numerous people in the home.
While speaking with the people, deputies say they saw drug paraphernalia and firearms in plain view inside the home.
John T. Gaskin of West Frankfort faces charges of unlawful possession of weapons by a felon (Class 3 felony) and obstructing justice (Class 4 felony).
Charles L. Murphy of West Frankfort faces charges of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia (Class A misdemeanor) and obstructing justice (Class 4 felony).
Stacy L. Rodgers of West Frankfort faces a charge of obstructing justice (Class 4 felony).
All three suspects were taken to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
