45th Remembrance for disappearance of Cheryl Anne Scherer: April 14

BENTON, Mo. (KBSI) – Sundy, April 14, 2024, is the 45th remembrance gathering of Cheryl Anne Scherer’s disappearance.
Scherer was last seen at her place of work at the Rhodes 101, on Main Street, in Scott City, Mo. Between 11:40 & 11;50 a.m.
Her car, keys and purse were left at the scene, with $480 dollars missing from the register.
The gathering will be at St. Denis Parish Center in Benton, Missouri starting at 1:00 p.m.
Guest speakers will include Deacon Rob Huff – Superintendent and Chancellor, Professor Jennifer Bengtson – SEMO Forensic Anthropology Cold Case Team and Michael Riley – Team Adam Consultant at National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Light refreshments will be served.
Feel free to wear yellow to represent Cheryl and all missing persons.
Donations will be accepted for a permanent remembrance marker to be placed at Rhodes Convenience Store in Scott City, MO that day and a preliminary sketch of this marker will be available for viewing on this day.
