5 face drug charges in McCracken County after arrests in same day

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) – Five people face drug charges after McCracken County Sheriff’s detectives arrested them Monday afternoon for drug offenses in McCracken County.
Lucas Scott, 33, of Paducah faces charges of possession of controlled substance 1st degree (cocaine) and arrest warrant for assault 4th domestic violence.
Kiante D. Vaughn, 27, of Paducah faces charges of disregarding traffic control device//instructional permit violations, trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (>or= 4 grams cocaine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Holly Hancock, 23, of McCracken County faces charges of failure to signal, license to be in possession and possession of controlled substance 1st degree-Fentanyl.
Kelsey Roach, 21, of McCracken County faces charges firearm enhanced trafficking in Fentanyl, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and receiving stolen property firearm.
Lauren Sanderson, 22, of McCracken County faces charges of trafficking in Fentanyl, possession of Fentanyl, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Detectives with the sheriff’s office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Park Avenue for traffic infractions on November 6.
Detectives identified the passenger of the vehicle as Lucas Scott, 33, of Paducah. Scott had an outstanding arrest warrant for assault 4th domestic violence. He was arrested. Detectives found a small amount of cocaine on him, according to investigators with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.
Detectives did another traffic stop on a vehicle on North 24th Street for traffic infractions on November 6. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Kiante D. Vaughn, 27, of Paducah. Vaughn was found to be in possession of two baggies of cocaine, weighing approximately 6 grams, and money believed to be the proceeds of illegal drug sales, according to detectives with the sheriff’s office. He was on felony probation at the time of his arrest for possessing a firearm by a convicted felon.
Detectives conducted a third traffic stop on Nov. 6 on a vehicle on Husbands Road for traffic infractions. The driver was identified as Holly Hancock, 23, of McCracken County. Hancock was found to be in possession of suspected Fentanyl pills, according to the detectives She was arrested.
Later that same evening, detectives executed a search warrant at 2012 Ted Williams Road in McCracken County following a drug investigation. Detectives arrested two people, Kelsey Roach, 21, and Lauren Sanderson, 22. Roach was found to be in possession of a loaded 9mm handgun in her waistband at the time of her arrest, according to detectives. A preliminary investigation revealed that the handgun had been reported stolen out of Texas in 2018. During a search of the home and a vehicle detectives found and seized more than 200 suspected Fentanyl pills, crystal methamphetamine, marijuana, assorted drug paraphernalia and money believed to be proceeds of illegal drug sales.
Roach and Sanderson were arrested.
All five people were taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
