5 face residential burglary charges after burglary in Orient
ORIENT, Ill. (KBSI) – Five people face residential burglary charges after sheriff’s deputies were called to a home in Orient Monday morning.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a burglary taking place at a home in Orient Monday, October 23 around 7:32 a.m.
Patrol deputies responded and spoke with witnesses and the property owner.
Numerous suspects were developed. Within minutes, two suspects were located and arrested.
Cletis D. Hanks, 23, Orient faces charges of residential burglary and theft.
Dustin C. Curry, 34, of West Frankfort faces charges of residential burglary, theft and resisting a peace officer.
Marissa A. Sims, 22, of West Frankfort faces charges of residential burglary, theft. Sims also had an arrest warrant from Saline County for probation violation.
Lindsey E. Bruce, 21, of West Frankfort faces charges of residential burglary and theft.
Courtney J. Nelson, 24, of West Frankfort faces charges of residential burglary and theft.
Numerous items of stolen property were recovered.
