6 contracts awarded for MoDOT projects in southeast MO

Road Work Ahead

SIKESTON, Mo. (KBSI) – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for Missouri Department of Transportation Southeast District projects during its regular meeting on March 1.

Awarded contracts include bridge replacements, pavement improvements, and intersection improvements.

Contracts include the following:

  • A $6,657,360 contract was awarded to Robertson Contractors, Inc., to replace the westbound bridge on Business 60 (Pine Street) over Black River in Poplar Bluff, Missouri in Butler County. The bridge is included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.
  • A $1,636,470 contract was awarded to Apex Paving, Co., for pavement improvements on Route P from Route 25 to Route 91 in Cape Girardeau, Scott and Stoddard counties.
  • A $268,802 contract was awarded to Apex Paving, Co., for pavement improvements on Route U from Route 21 to Route 60 in Carter County.
  • A $1,158,777 contract was awarded to Fronabarger Concreters, Inc., for intersection improvements at Route 67 and Route H near Farmington, Missouri in St. Francois County.
  • A $5,811,075 contract was awarded to Robertson Contractors, Inc., for a bridge replacement on Route 34 over Black River in Wayne County. The bridge is included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.
  • A $2,682,696 contract was awarded to Emery Sapp & Sons for pavement and shoulder improvements on Route 34 from Route 49 to Route 67 in Wayne County. The project will also include northbound ramp improvements.
