7 sentenced for various crimes in Franklin County

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ill. (KBSI) – Seven people were sentenced for various crimes on Thursday, February 22 in Franklin County.

Danny D. Cutter, 53, of Benton, Ill. was sentended to 20 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) for possession of 400-900 grams methamphetamine (Class X felony).

Sierra S. Fitzpatrick, 29, of Marion, Ill. was sentenced to four years in IDOC for possession of 15-100 grams of methamphetamine (Class 1 felony) and two years in IDOC for obstructing justice (Clas 4 felony).

Dawn M. Gulley, 46, of Murphysboro, Ill. was sentenced to eight years in IDOC for burglary (Class 4 felony).

Kayin C. Jeter, 24, of Benton, Ill. was sentenced to two years in the IDOC for domestic battery (Class 4 felony).

Kiel L. Patterson, 24, of Orient, Ill. was sentenced to 15 years in the IDOC for delivery of 15-100 grams methamphetamine (Class X felony).

Jason P. Pruitt, 39, of Benton, Ill. was sentenced to four years in the IDOC for possession of less than 5 grams methamphetamine (Class 3 felony).

Terry L. Sneed, 31, of West Frankfort,, Illinois was sentenced to three years in the IDOC for delivery of less than 5 grams methamphetamine (Class 2 felony).

Each person’s sentenced will be followed by a period of mandatory supervised release accord to the class of the offense.

The Southern Illinois Drug Task Force, Christopher Police Department, Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, West Frankfort Police Department and the Illinois State Police investiaged the cases.

State’s Attorney Abby Dinn and First Assistant State’s Attorney Daniel Cockrum prosecuted the cases.
