9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit opens at Missouri Capitol

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo., (KBSI) — A traveling exhibit honoring the victims and first responders of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks is now open at the Missouri State Capitol.

The 9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit pays tribute to everyone who died in the attacks, including the 343 members of the New York City Fire Department who were killed. It also honors those who have died from 9/11-related illnesses.

The high-tech exhibit is housed inside an 83-foot tractor-trailer that expands into an approximately 1,100-square-foot educational space.

The exhibit will be open during the following hours:

Thursday, Sept. 10: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 11: 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 12: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 13: Noon to 8 p.m.

The exhibit aims to educate visitors about the events of Sept. 11, 2001, and preserve the stories of those affected by the attacks.
