Woman arrested after man run over by vehicle, died

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – A women is in custody involving an incident that left a man in critical condition.
On November 25, officers with the Cape Girardeau Police Department responded to a call of a man lying on the ground unresponsive at the Eagles.
Officers and medical personal arrived on scene for serious and possible life-threatening injuries.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment and later transferred to a St. Louis hospital.
After investigation detectives learned the individual had injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle.
On November 30, the victim passed away from injuries he sustained in the incident.
On November 29, detectives found and arrested Cynthia Perry, 45, of Frohna for her alleged involvement with this incident.
Perry was formally charged through the Cape Girardeau County Prosecutors Office for class D felony of domestic assault in the second degree and felony armed criminal action.
Perry was being held on a $250,000 cash only bond.
