Actors wanted for Haunted Hall or Horror

The Cape Girardeau Parks & Recreation Department has an open call for haunted house actors and performer for the 2021 Haunted Hall of Horror.

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – The Cape Girardeau Parks & Recreation Department has an open call for haunted house actors and performer for the 2021 Haunted Hall of Horror.

Open auditions will be held at the A. C. Brase Arena (410 Kiwanis Drive) on Tuesday, September 21  from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and Wednesday, September 22 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Those interested can audition to join the team. Bring your best scream! If you want to work up a scary character to do for the audition, you can, but it is not required.

You must be 16 years of age to work and you must bring a government issued photo ID.

Those chosen must be available to work October 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, 30 & 31 starting at 6 p.m.

The week of Oct 11-15, the Parks and Rec Department turn the AC Brase Arena into a Haunted House. It will be open to the public on Friday Oct 15 at 7 p.m. and will be open on Fridays, Saturdays and Halloween night. It usually takes 20-25 minutes to make it through the Haunted Hall of Horror.
