BENTON, Mo., (KBSI) — The Scott County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday that an additional charge has been filed following the arrest of Andrew Hanks during a warrant operation earlier this week.
David Michael Bollinger, 38, of Benton, has been charged with hindering prosecution of a felony. According to the sheriff’s office, Bollinger admitted he knew Hanks was hiding from law enforcement and helped him avoid apprehension.
Bollinger is being held at the Scott County Jail on a $50,000 cash or surety bond.
Sheriff Derick Wheetley released the update in a follow-up to Tuesday’s warrant execution.
