Adopt a rubber ducky for PaDucky Derby fundraiser

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) – The time is now to adopt your rubber ducky for the PaDucky Derby.

The annual rubber duck race is October 21 at 3 p.m. at Montgomery Lake within Bob Noble Park Pond in Paducah.

This year the grand prize is $2,500. The goal is to adopt 20,000 ducks.

A duck is $5, but you can get a “quack pack” of 6 ducks for $25 or a flock for $50.

Each duck will be tagged with a special number.

The proceeds will benefit the Merryman House Domestic Crisis Center which offers outreach and residential services for victims of intimate partner abuse
