Advance Fire Department responds to residential fire, no injuries reported
ADVANCE, Mo., (KBSI) — The Advance Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire early Tuesday morning.
Fire crews were dispatched around 6:15 a.m. and arrived to find smoke coming from a single-story home. Engine 1 declared it a working fire, began a search for occupants, located the source of the blaze and initiated suppression efforts, officials said.
During the response, firefighters rescued the family’s pet from inside the home. No injuries were reported, and all pets were safely accounted for.
The Bloomfield Department of Public Safety and Bell City Fire Department assisted at the scene.
