Altercation leads to shots fired at a Cape Girardeau business
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – Cape Girardeau Police Department received a 911 call of an active shooter at Dogwood Social House after an altercation between a group of people led to shots fired.
On June 24, 2023, at about 11:11 p.m. officers responded to the 100 block of South Plaza Way and began clearing the area and searching for victims and suspects.
After investigation officers found evidence of shots fired.
No injuries or damage has been reported at this time.
This is an ongoing investigation, and the Cape Girardeau Police Department strongly encourages citizens to report anything they may have seen during this incident.
