Amendment 3 results pour in for Missouri

CAPE GIRARDEAU, (KBSI) – 10 States in America have abortion on the ballot this year. This year amendment 3 is proposed by an initiative petition.
The aim is to give women the right to reproductive freedom, including abortion.
In Missouri as of 2024, abortion is banned with certain exceptions.
Saving the life or preventing Serious risk to the health of the pregnant woman.
This law went into effect in 2022.
Many supporters of amendment three say they want to see women have the choice on the life of the future child.

Brock Freeman is a voter in Cape Girardeau, and he tells us his thoughts on Amendment 3 saying, “women, their families, their pastors, that is, who should have the decision making ability here in Missouri over a woman’s body. It is not the church and it is not politicians in the legislature. “
While voters against amendment 3 say that the future child should be spoken for like Devin Farless another voter in Cape Girardeau saying,
“absolutely. No, I, I for, personal, you know, I have a biblical worldview as well as other worldviews, but my biblical worldview takes precedence over most. And so I, in good conscience, I could not. “
Results are flowing in tonight, right now the data shows 53% say yes to Amendment 3, while 43% say no to Amendment 3.
