American Red Cross deploys 96 responders to Hurricane-Ravaged Southeast Missouri

SOUTHEAST, Mo., (KBSI) – In the wake of devastating Hurricanes Helene and Milton, the American Red Cross of Missouri and Arkansas Region has mobilized 96 disaster responders to provide critical aid to affected areas.

With time being of the essence, thousands in need of immediate assistance with 77 responders from Missouri and 19 from Arkansas on the ground in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee, the American Red Cross is working tirelessly to:

– Provide food and shelter

– Distribute over 560,000 meals and snacks

– Deliver 32,000 relief items, including cleaning and hygiene supplies

SOUTHEAST MISSOURI AND NORTHEAST ARKANSAS CHAPTER STEPS UP

The local chapter has deployed four responders to support relief efforts.
