Angel Productions hosted 17th annual Christmas Carnival

CAPE GIRARDEAU Mo. (KBSI) – Angel Productions hosted the 17th annual Christmas Carnival at Emerald Street Church of God on December 3.
Sherri Johnson, coordinator of Angel Productions said, “17 years ago a friend and I wanted to do something to bring the community together to talk about the real reason for the season, so we put together this Christmas Carnival.”
The event is dedicated to free Christmas shopping for children which features games and activities.
“The kids play games that tell a Christmas story, put Mary and Joseph in the stable. Bring the shepherds up throw the bean bag through the angles halos etc.” Said Johnson.
Children collected tickets from games and activities to drop off at a prize table where they were to choose from a wide variety of toys; from remote cars to barbie dolls, coupons from restaurants, and even jewelry.
Sponsorships and donations were made possible by Midamerica Hotels, Dairy Queen, Food Giant, Save a Lot, and other organizations.
The Carnival was from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and is held on the first Sunday each year in December.
