Anna Colorfest to bring music, food and circus shows downtown

ANNA, Ill., (KBSI) — The City of Anna is preparing for its annual Colorfest downtown street festival, featuring live music, local vendors, activities and circus performances.

The festival is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, in downtown Anna near Davie Street Plaza and Pavilion.

Local vendors will be set up throughout the day, offering art, crafts, clothing, home goods and other items. A community painting activity is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A pumpkin derby begins at 11 a.m., with participants racing decorated pumpkins on wheels.

Live music includes the Ethan Stephenson Duo from noon to 3 p.m. and the Jake Myers Band from 3 to 6 p.m.

The Kingdom of Wonders Circus will also hold shows at 3 and 6 p.m. at City Park.

Food, drinks, art activities and other attractions will be available throughout the festival.

Admission is free, and the event will be held rain or shine.
