Arnold man charged after allegedly shooting at group of people

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo., (KBSI) — An Arnold man is facing six felony charges after authorities say he fired shots at a group of people following an argument.
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting happened Aug. 9 in the 1400 block of Scenic Drive in Arnold.
Investigators said 21-year-old Nicholas B. Fenstermaker allegedly fired several shots from his vehicle toward a group of people following a verbal altercation. No one was injured.
Deputies recovered spent shell casings from the scene and identified a suspect vehicle during the investigation.
Authorities later located the vehicle and obtained a search warrant. Investigators said they confirmed the vehicle belonged to Fenstermaker.
During a search of the vehicle, investigators reported finding a spent shell casing, multiple firearms and ammunition consistent with the shell casings recovered at the scene.
Fenstermaker was taken into custody Aug. 10.
He is charged with three counts of first-degree assault and three counts of armed criminal action.
Fenstermaker is being held in the Jefferson County Jail without bond.
