Arrest made after violation of protection order

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, IL (KBSI) – A man was arrested on Jun. 25 after a report of a violation of a protection order. Deputies determined Brent A. Battles Jr. was served a copy of the Emergency Order of Protection by Williamson County earlier that day.

The petitioner stated Battles Jr. was sending her threating messages even changing his phone number to continue contacting her. An additional compliant also reported the suspect was sending lewd, offensive, and threatening messages.

Battles Jr. was found in Marion, IL and and cited for Violation of An Order of Protection. He was transported to Williamson County Jail.
