1 arrested after attempted robbery in Dexter

DEXTER, Mo. (KBSI) – Dexter police responded to an attempted robbery at Break Time Convenience Store on June 17 at 1 a.m.

The employee stated a man entered the store and pressed what felt like a gun to her back and demanded money. The employee kicked the suspect and he ran out of the store.

He’s now been identified as Samuel Kilbreth who was arrested in Puxico on an active probation and parole warrant.

Kilbreth is being held at Stoddard County Jail on a no bond warrant.

His charges are as follows:

  • Count I-Class B felony of attempted robbery 1st degree
  • Count II-unclassified felony of armed criminal action
  • Count III-Class D felony of assault 2nd degree
  • Count IV-Class D felony of unlawful possession of a firearm
  • Count V- Class E Felony of tampering with physical evidence in a felony prosecution
  • Count VI-Class E Felony of unlawful use of a weapon, subsection 4 exhibiting
