Authorities seek public’s help in locating wanted sex offender
SCOTT COUNTY, Mo., (KBSI) — Authorities are seeking the public’s help in locating Marissa Roe, a convicted sex offender wanted for failing to register.
Roe, who was convicted in 2010 in Nebraska for enticement of a child, was last registered at 710 Smith Ave. in Sikeston, Missouri. She failed to comply with her 90-day registration obligation, which was due April 11.
Detective Jeremy Gardner said multiple attempts have been made to contact Roe at the listed address, which appeared to be unoccupied and under renovation.
Roe is described as a sex offender who has failed to register. Authorities warn against approaching her and instead ask that anyone with information contact Detective Gardner at 573-545-3525 or submit an anonymous tip through the Scott County Sheriff’s Office website.
“We urge anyone with information on Roe’s whereabouts to come forward,” said Sheriff Derick Wheetley. “We will work tirelessly to ensure public safety.”
