FOX23 News at 9 p.m
JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) — Autism Awareness of Southeast Missouri will host its first AASM Autism Color Walk & Roll on April 26 at Jackson City Park.
The event will include a free Community Booth and Resource Area during the children’s portion of the event, giving families an opportunity to connect with local organizations, learn about available resources and participate in family-friendly activities.
Organizations are invited to host booths that provide information, resources or activities geared toward children and families. Participation in the booth area is free, but sales will not be permitted.
Booth setup is scheduled from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., with booth hours running from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The Color Walk & Roll will begin at 1 p.m., with the final color toss expected around 1:45 p.m. Organizations participating in the walk must register, but booths may remain set up throughout the event.
Participants must provide their own tables and display materials. Pop-up tents are welcome but optional, and electricity will not be available. Additional layout and arrival details will be shared closer to the event.
Each participating organization is responsible for staffing its own booth, as volunteer availability will be limited.
