Backyard Baseball Showdown at Capaha Field canceled

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – The Backyard Baseball Showdown, scheduled for Saturday, August 31 at Capaha Field Cape Girardeau has been canceled.

“This unfortunate decision was made after careful consideration and assessments were completed. We understand the disappointment and inconvenience this may cause.
Our organization has already begun issuing ticket refunds. All ticket holders and vendors will receive a full refund using the original payment method within 10 business days, if not sooner. Currently, there are no plans to reschedule the Backyard Baseball Showdown,” according to a post on the St. Louis Clydesdales First Responder Baseball Team Facebook page.
