Ballard County sheriff warns public about trespassing on private bridge

BALLARD COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — The Ballard County Sheriff’s Office is warning the public about trespassing on a privately owned bridge on Mosstown Road.

Officials said the wooden bridge was built by the landowner for personal use and is not a state or county structure, meaning it is not subject to inspection.

Anyone using the bridge without permission is considered to be trespassing and could face prosecution, according to the sheriff’s office.
