Baptist Health Medical Group expands orthopedic care in Western Kentucky
PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG) has launched its Sports Medicine service line in western Kentucky, led by brothers Luke Beggs, MD, PhD, and Jake Beggs, PA-C.
The Beggs brothers, both graduates of Heath High School, offer advanced, nonoperative orthopedic and sports medicine care for athletes and active individuals, with no referral needed.
Dr. Beggs specializes in diagnosing and treating orthopedic and sports-related conditions, including joint injuries, arthritis, and fractures. He also provides ultrasound-guided injections and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy.
Jake Beggs focuses on sports medicine, athlete recovery, nonsurgical orthopedics, and nutritional counseling, ensuring a well-rounded approach to patient care.
The brothers treat conditions such as ankle sprains, knee injuries, tendinitis, and stress fractures in both youth and adult athletes. They emphasize exercise as the most effective tool for injury prevention and longevity.
