Baptist Health Paducah earns 5-Star CMS rating for second consecutive year

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — Baptist Health Paducah has received a 5-star quality rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for the second year in a row.

The hospital is one of only two in Kentucky and the only one in western Kentucky to achieve the highest rating possible.

The CMS rating is based on performance in areas such as patient safety, mortality rates, patient experience and timely care.

Baptist Health Paducah President Kenny Boyd attributed the achievement to the hospital’s commitment to patient safety and high-quality care.
